If you’re looking for a tranquil escape, Sula Vineyards in Nashik offers the ultimate staycation experience. With its breathtaking views, a selection of fine wines, and luxurious accommodations, it’s the perfect getaway to relax, indulge, and unwind. Here’s how you can make the most of your stay at Sula Vineyards.

Relax, Wine, and Rewined
Nestled in the heart of Nashik—India’s wine capital—Sula Vineyards is a haven for wine lovers and travelers alike. Beyond by Sula, the vineyard’s premium stay option, is where we chose to spend our weekend, and it exceeded all expectations.
Where Is Sula Vineyards?
Sula Vineyards is located in Nashik, Maharashtra, around 170 km from Mumbai and 220 km from Pune. The drive to Nashik is scenic and makes for a pleasant road trip. Once you arrive, you’re greeted by sprawling vineyards, fresh air, and a serene environment that sets the tone for your stay.
The Welcome: A Toast to Relaxation
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a glass of Sula’s finest wine. The staff ensured our check-in process was seamless, and we were quickly escorted to our room. With a spacious balcony offering panoramic views of the vineyards, it was the perfect spot to unwind.
After settling in, we took a leisurely walk around the stay area to soak in the atmosphere. The in-house restaurant served local delicacies, and we couldn’t resist indulging in some wine cheesecake for dessert—a must-try for any visitor.
Chill by the Pool: Sunset Vibes
The highlight of the evening was relaxing by the infinity pool as the sun dipped below the horizon. The golden hues of the sunset, paired with a glass of wine and a platter of cheese, created a magical ambiance. If you’re visiting Sula, make sure to carve out time to enjoy this serene experience.
Dinner with a View
As the night set in, we got ready for dinner at the deck. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with a view of the sea and twinkling lights in the distance, made for a memorable dining experience. The menu offered a mix of Indian and continental dishes, perfectly paired with Sula’s exquisite wines.

Day Two: Wine, Wellness, and More
A Relaxing Morning
The next day began with a refreshing dip in the pool, followed by some time in the jacuzzi. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. Before heading out, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which included an impressive spread of Indian and continental dishes. The fresh fruits and baked goods were particularly delightful.
Exploring Sula Vineyards
After breakfast, it was time to explore the iconic Sula Vineyards. We strolled through the lush vineyards, took in the scenic beauty, and visited the wine park. The guided wine-making tour was an informative and enjoyable experience. As part of our stay package, the tour was complimentary, which added great value to our visit. We learned about the various types of wines produced here and even got to taste a selection.
One of the unique offerings at Sula is their Wine Pani Puri. While it was an interesting twist on a classic dish, I found it to be more of a one-time novelty than a standout culinary experience.
Local Experiences in Nashik
While Sula Vineyards is undoubtedly the main attraction, don’t miss out on some local Nashik flavors. Misal Pav, a spicy Maharashtrian breakfast dish, is a must-try. For lunch or dinner, explore local Malvani chicken thali joints, which serve flavorful and authentic meals.
Final Thoughts
Sula Vineyards offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that combines relaxation, indulgence, and a touch of luxury. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, savoring gourmet food and wine, or learning about the art of winemaking, there’s something here for everyone. A visit to Sula is the perfect way to unwind and create lasting memories.
So, pack your bags, raise your glass, and toast to a rejuvenating staycation at Sula Vineyards. Cheers!
